A dated master bath in Algonquin was transformed into a bright, spa-inspired space with a custom walk-in shower, freestanding tub, and modern finishes throughout.
This master bathroom renovation in Algonquin focused on opening up the layout and replacing outdated features with clean, modern elements that are easier to use every day. The old shower and tub area felt closed-in and dated, so our team redesigned the space to feel brighter, more spacious, and more relaxing. We installed a custom walk-in shower with a frameless glass panel to keep sightlines open, paired with marble-look wall tile for a timeless finish.
A hexagon mosaic shower floor adds texture and slip resistance, while built-in niches keep shampoos and soaps organized without clutter. We also added a solid shower bench for comfort and convenience. To complete the spa-like feel, we installed a freestanding soaking tub near the window and upgraded the vanity area with a double-sink setup and quartz countertops for durability and easy maintenance.
Here’s what we updated in this Algonquin bathroom remodel:
- Custom walk-in shower with frameless glass enclosure
- Marble-look tile on shower walls
- Hexagon mosaic tile shower floor
- Built-in shower bench and recessed niches
- Freestanding soaking tub with modern floor-mounted filler
- Double-sink vanity with updated cabinetry
- Quartz vanity countertops
- New sinks, faucets, and plumbing fixtures
- Updated lighting and mirrors
- Coordinated floor tile throughout the bathroom
Tile work and waterproofing are critical in a bathroom remodel, so we used proven installation methods to protect the shower system and ensure long-term performance. Clean lines, balanced tile layout, and careful finishing details helped the new space feel polished from every angle. The result is a master bathroom that looks modern, feels calm, and functions better for everyday routines.
